Supporting our local community and the Middlesbrough & Teesside Philanthropic Foundation

For a number of years, we have supported the Middlesbrough & Teesside Philanthropic Foundation because of our deep roots in the Middlesbrough area, we’re passionate about the work it does for the community.

The foundation is a registered charity that joins together businesses and individuals to make Middlesbrough and Teesside better places in which to live, work and do business.

We recently donated £1,000 to its appeal to provide laptops to school children, who were home-schooling, so that they could continue to access their learning.

As a business, we are passionate about providing support where we can to our community and the foundation is great at identifying where help is needed, so it works perfectly.

Our Managing Director, James Griffiths, spoke to Gary Philipson at BBC Radio Tees about the work the Middlesbrough & Teesside Philanthropic Foundation does and how we’re supporting it.

It’s a great listen, and James and Gary also talk about the changes the company has made to be more agile – enabling IMH to continue to operate throughout the lockdown.
