Shortlisted for Made In The North East Awards

The whole team at IMH is beyond proud to share that we have been shortlisted for Insider’s Made In The North East Awards.

2024 marks the 12th year of the awards which celebrate and reward high-quality manufacturing businesses in the North East.

Insider’s Made In The North East Awards awards present a fantastic opportunity to showcase the amazing products and services that manufacturing and engineering companies supply and the skilled people that work for them.

We have been shortlisted in the Manufacturing Future Talent Award category. The award looks to recognise the manufacturing business that has done the most to further the cause of apprenticeships and general training and upskilling of its staff.

As a champion of earn and learn schemes and developing future talent through knowledge sharing and skills training we’re delighted to be part of the awards.

James Griffiths, managing director at IMH commented: “I couldn’t be prouder for the company to have been shortlisted for Insider’s Made In The North East Awards. It provides a great opportunity for us to further shine a light on the quality of our workforce and demonstrate our commitment to manufacturing future talent here in Teesside.

“It will be fantastic to attend the awards ceremony alongside the North East manufacturing industry and hear about their experiences.”

We would like to wish all the other shortlisted companies the best of luck at the awards – with the winners of each category going onto a shortlist for the Made In The UK Awards.

Other awards categories include Digital Technology, Manufacturing Innovation, Automotive, Aerospace & Rail, Export, Food & Drink, Sustainable/Ethical Manufacturer, Apprentice of the Year, Manufacturing Start-up, Manufacturer of the Year (below £25m) and Manufacturer of the Year (above £25m).

The winners will be announced at a black-tie dinner taking place at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead Hotel on 14 March 2024.
